Publication Ethics Policy

1. Introduction

Cosmo Research and Science International Journal (CRSI Journal) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. This policy outlines the ethical principles that authors, reviewers, and editors must adhere to, following the COPE Code of Conduct.

2. Responsibilities of Authors

  • Originality & Plagiarism: Submit only original works; similarity index must be valid (excluding references).
  • Authorship: Only contributors should be listed as authors; all authors must approve the final version.
  • Data Accuracy: Present accurate, verifiable data; no fabrication or falsification.
  • Multiple Submissions: Manuscripts must not be under review or published elsewhere.
  • Acknowledgments: Cite all sources appropriately.
  • Conflict of Interest: Disclose any financial, personal, or professional relationships.
  • AI-Generated Content Policy: Declare AI use in a dedicated section; AI can be used for grammar checks but not for generating original research or results without human verification.

3. Responsibilities of Reviewers

  • Maintain manuscript confidentiality.
  • Provide objective, constructive, and timely reviews.
  • Disclose any conflicts of interest with the manuscript or authors.
  • Do not use unpublished content for personal gain.

4. Responsibilities of Editors and Editorial Board

  • Make unbiased publication decisions based on quality and relevance.
  • Ensure confidentiality during peer review.
  • Address ethical concerns promptly.
  • Avoid conflicts of interest in handling manuscripts.

5. Plagiarism and Misconduct Handling

If plagiarism, data fabrication, or other unethical practices are detected, the editorial team will investigate in line with COPE guidelines. Proven violations may result in manuscript rejection, retraction, and/or banning from future submissions.

6. Retraction Policy

A published article may be retracted if misconduct or serious errors are found. A public retraction notice will explain the reason.

7. Open Access and Licensing

All articles are published as Open Access under [Insert License Type – e.g., CC BY 4.0], allowing free access and reuse with proper attribution.

8. Compliance and Enforcement

By submitting to CRSI Journal, authors agree to abide by this Publication Ethics Policy. The journal reserves the right to take necessary action to protect academic integrity.
